MY STRENGTHS: I love organizing collections and spaces. Whether it’s books, clothes, toys, or tools, arts & crafts, closets, cabinets & desk spaces, I can’t wait to dive in and make them functional and beautiful. Many times we use what you have in new and inventive ways and finding affordable options to transform and streamline a space.

After growing up in Florida, I moved to Maryland to be a  full time live-in nanny for a wonderful family. Part of my routine became keeping not just the kids, but the family organized in their three homes. While the boys were in school I discovered the Martha Stewart Show. I never missed an episode. I subscribed to her magazine, purchased her craft kits and then went about organizing and decorating everything I could, to be like Martha. 

This new found inspiration in conjunction with my innate need to keep things organized and neat soon led to a career in kitchen & bath design.  Fifteen years in this industry honed my design skills, maximization of storage and optimal use of space.  I would describe myself as a natural organizer, and it made sense to get paid for doing something I truly enjoy.  I have always had a knack for helping with decor & color selection, consulting for many family, friends and clients from my kitchen and bath years. Creative Organized Ambience was the opportunity to create something new for the next part of my life.

I love to walk into a room and immediately identify things that will help open up and make the room more breathable. The fun is then using what is there to make the space more appealing & comfortable, like a puzzle. As COA, I organize, categorize and bring in ambience and decor when needed.
